2024 Year in Review

Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Growth, Innovation, and Impact

As we get set to close out 2024, our team can celebrate another year of meaningful milestones and transformative achievements. From launching a new product to supporting communities, fundraisers, and students, our journey this year was marked by innovation, collaboration, and impact.

Here’s a look back at what our amazing team accomplished together.

CommuniBee Suite: Empowering Communities with Management Tools

January 2024 marked the official launch of CommuniBee Suite (CBS), designed to streamline operations for communities and fundraising organizations of all sizes. On release, CommuniBee’s core features included a website builder, online marketplace, event management, donation management, and fundraising tools, integrated with our existing products Bid Beacon and Raffle Rocket.

We didn’t stop there! In addition to making ongoing improvements to existing features throughout the year, our team added two more core features:

  1. Membership management was implemented to streamline the creation, sale, and management of memberships and renewals.
  2. Surveys was added to help organizations connect with their communities by gathering valuable insights and feedback.

Making a Difference with Online Silent Auctions and Raffles

This year, our fundraising platforms, Bid Beacon and Raffle Rocket, helped fundraisers across North America and beyond, raise over $3.2 million to support vital causes. In addition to the fundraising accomplishments, our team made also made quality of life changes to both platforms this year.

  • Bid Beacon: We revamped the Setup Wizard, making it quicker than ever to create silent auctions that captivate bidders and maximize fundraising success.
  • Raffle Rocket: We made improvements to the checkout flow, simplifying the experience for donors and driving higher conversion rates.

LIPHA: Supporting Healthcare Education Across Ontario

In Ontario, LIPHA (Learning Inter-Professionally Healthcare Accelerator) continues to play a crucial role in delivering training to students in nursing, practical nursing, and health-care aid, and team members in long-term care (LTC).

  • In 2024, over 3,600 licenses were used by students and team members in long-term care.
  • Looking ahead, 2025 is showing no signs of slowing down as more long-term care homes and post-secondary institutes in Ontario are adopting LIPHA. For the current fiscal year (2024/2025), the LIPHA program is on track to exceed the total licenses budgeted by approximately 30%!

Our team is extremely excited to continue its collaboration with Baycrest and the CLRI to support workforce education, recruitment and retention in Ontario’s long-term care sector.

Looking Ahead: Building on Momentum

As we reflect on these wonderful achievements, we remain focused on our mission to empower organizations, foster community impact, and support fundraisers in 2025.

From everyone at Launch57, we hope you have a safe and happy holiday season.
