Members of Launch57 (Ian Halliday) and Baycrest (Rachel Walker, Natalie Leventhal, Raquel Meyer) were delighted to co-hosted a booth and present at this year’s Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA) Together We Care Conference. The conference is Canada’s largest gathering of long term care and retirement community professionals. Together with our partner and customer, Baycrest Academy, we presented the LIPHA application.
LIPHA, the Learning Inter-Professionally Healthcare Accelerator, is an educational technology that integrates simulation-, case-, team- and story-based learning in a serious meta-simulation game world. Jointly developed by Baycrest and Launch57, LIPHA is enjoying tremendous success and seeing significant uptake both within post-secondary schools that offer nursing or personal support worker (PSW) education and also within long term care homes across Ontario.
The conference was well attended, and our booth generated strong interest amongst the conference attendees.
